Trinity U

"A student is not above his teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like his teacher" -- Luke 6:40

Trinity U is a discipleship ministry sponsored each year by the pastors and elders of Trinity Evangelical Free Church.

It is offered in three, seven-week installments throughout the year and the curriculum covers topics such as evangelism, foundations of faith I and II, spirituals disciplines, stewardship, church leadership, marriage, and family.

Classes include a book, weekly reading assignments, and class discussion.

The goal of Trinity U is to equip individuals with the knowledge of God’s word for a faithful walk in the Christian life.

TRINITY U Winter Session

Sunday, February 17- Sunday, April 6
5:30 p.m. - 6:45 p.m.

Foundations I:

Christian growth begins at the moment of conversion, but the building of a foundation is necessary to establish one’s faith. Foundations I provides six building blocks for consistent growth--the assurance of salvation, Bible study, prayer, witnessing, worship, fellowship and stewardship.
Leader: Pastor Fleagle     Cost: $5.00

How to Study the Bible:

This is an introduction to: How do I study the Bible for myself Monday-Saturday? How do I begin? Where do I start? What is the “best” Bible to use? What if I have questions? We will learn various methods of study in order to gain a better understanding of how to observe, interpret, and most importantly apply the Scriptures. All materials will be provided, just bring a Bible.
Leader: Ed Phillips     Cost: none

How to Manage Your Money:

With over 2,350 verses on money and possessions, the Bible is your blueprint for sound financial management! Learn what Scripture says about faithfulness (God’s and ours), debt, giving, work, honesty, investing, budgeting, saving, and more.
Leaders: Steve Miller & Johnnie Johnson
Cost: $12.00

Know Why You Believe (Apologetics):

How do you know there is a God? Is the Bible trustworthy? Why does God allow suffering and evil? I Peter 3:15 tells us to, "Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have". When non-Christians ask sincere questions about the Christian faith, are you prepared to offer them a response?
Leader: Del Simonovich     Cost: $10.00
