Our Purpose and Passion

We were planted by a small group of Christians in Lorain County in 1994 under the clear direction of God. THE PURPOSE for our existence is simple; to bring glory to God by nurturing and encouraging each other to live lives which are spiritually contagious to our community and world.

IT IS OUR PASSION to tell people about what God has allowed us to experience; namely, genuine freedom from the slavery to sin, guilt, and shame that only being reconciled to God through Jesus Christ can offer. Upon acceptance, it is our responsibility as a church to disciple them to maturity, and to train them for the unique ministry for which God has specifically created them so that they too may in turn disciple others that God has called to be part of His family.

Jeremiah 17:7-8 says Blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence. They are like a tree planted along the riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they go right on producing delicious fruit."
